Position: Administration and Logistics Coordinator

Location: Montreal, QC (in-person)
Languages: English and French (bilingual required)
Start Date: Early 2026 (negotiable)
Type: Full-time, permanent

We are looking for a highly organized and adaptable coordinator to support the operational and administrative needs of our growing team. The role involves keeping projects and logistics on track and helping a small technical organization function smoothly. A technical background is not required—strong organizational skills and good judgment are what matter most.

About t0.technology

t0.technology Inc. is a small Canadian R&D company developing advanced superconducting sensors and readout electronics for astronomy, industrial sensing, and scientific instrumentation.

We collaborate directly with astronomers, universities, and government agencies, designing technologies that support open scientific research and next-generation observatories. Our lab is both technical and creative: physicists, engineers, and developers work side-by-side, building real instruments and collaborating with scientists across the globe.

We’re a tight-knit, hands-on team, not a corporate environment. Everyone contributes across disciplines, and your role would be supporting both business and engineering activities.

Non-technical backgrounds are welcome for this role.

Do you know how every time you go camping, there are always 10 things that have to be done to set up camp, and at least one person who is always right there, noticing what needs doing, ready to jump in and learn on the way? We are assembling a team of those people. Perceptive, engaged, and collaborative.

If you’re highly organized, curious about science, and motivated by meaningful work, this is the kind of role you might not realize exists.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Finance

  • Integrate with our high-level teams and facilitate the smooth functioning of their projects.

  • Track invoicing and bookkeeping.

  • Manage timelines and documentation for grants and contracts.

Procurement & Inventory

  • Track and procure lab materials and supplies.

  • Handle vendor communications, shipping, and import/export documentation.

  • Help prepare the lab and materials for external visitors or reviews.

Web and Communications

  • Implement website updates or coordinate subcontractors for larger ones.

  • Support preparation of grant applications or outreach materials.

Get your hands dirty

  • When it’s crunch-time, everyone pitches in at t0.
This could mean you find yourself connecting cables on a new telescope focal plane, or trying to figure out how to overnight ship a Helium isotope to Santiago.
We’re looking for someone with the mindset to make things happen and pitch in when needed. Attitude is more important than experience.

Lab Participation

  • Occasionally assist the team in hands-on lab or setup tasks.

Our team works in person and this role is in person, not remote or hybrid.
This position, or subset of it, may be adaptable to a full time or part time role.

Profile

You are:

  • Exceptionally organized, adaptable, and proactive.

  • Comfortable using and troubleshooting digital systems.

  • Personable and reliable in a collaborative small-team setting.

  • Bilingual (French and English), or almost bilingual.

Assets:

  • Interest in astronomy or space.

  • Comfortable with basic manual or workshop tasks.

  • Experience in research, academic, or tech environments.
